Frankfurt Motor Show 2013: stand-by-stand A-Z

The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show opens to the public 12-22 September, following two press days on 10-11 September. Here’s an A-Z stand-by-stand run down of what you can expect.

MSN Cars will be bringing you full and complete coverage of the event, including written reports, live picture galleries and videos – so if you can’t make it in person, we will keep you completely up to date.

No word yet from Fiat’s performance division, but it’s bound to bring a new special edition or two, and perhaps even an upgraded 500L. In 2011, for example, Abarth rolled-out the 695 Tributo Ferrari, based on the regular 500.

Alfa Romeo will be busy plugging the production version of the 4C sports car, so we’re not expecting any major new car debuts. There may, however, be a facelift for the MiTo supermini.

Plenty for Aston to celebrate at Frankfurt this year: the marque is 100 years’ old, has just secured AMG engines and has some exciting new models. Look out for the CC100 special, Centennial Zagatos, Vanquish Volante and V12 Vantage S.

King of the Audi stand will be the incredible Sport Quattro Concept, set to join the range next year as a supercar above the R8. There are also facelifts for the A8/S8, talk of the A3 Cabriolet and an ‘Ultra’ 1.6 TDI super-efficient engine.

Bentley will have something new at Frankfurt 2013, but we don’t yet know exactly what it is. What it won’t be, however, is the new SUV. That’s coming, but we’re told it won’t be shown for the first time here.
