Hamann introduces Mission body kit for BMW M5

Hamann Motorsport isn't known for being subtle. When it isn't pumping up G-Wagens and Porsches, it's tie-dying a McLaren MP4-12C. Its newest package starts with the already aggressive-looking BMW M5, then slices up the bodywork in typical Hamann fashion.
The result is the Alpine white Hamann Mission.
The front of the Mission M5 gets squared-off air intakes with extra LEDs below, along with a grille that is widened and lengthened, passed the front headlights.
A wide body kit adds a little more than an inch to the width of the car. All parts are made of carbon fiber, adding no more than seven pounds per side, according to Hamann.
The side profile gets more aggressive with scallops near the rear doors, character lines on the side skirts and a bigger vent behind the front tire. Both the front and rear bumpers have styling that stretches to the sides of the vehicle as well.
We can also see a roof spoiler, which Hamann says “bravely faces into the wind, providing much better contact with the pavement.”
The rear bumper surrounds an optional modified exhaust system and sports air vents on opposite sides.
The entire kit costs $24,371, converted from Euros, and includes front and rear bumpers, rear and roof spoilers, front and rear fender extensions, side sills and a rear diffuser.
Hamann also offers several wheel packages ranging from about $7,000-$13,000, as well as a spring setup that lowers the car 1.5 inches ($429) and an exhaust system ($3,591).
Interior accessories including carbon-fiber trim, aluminum pedals, floor mats and hood emblems are also available.
