Help us find this band's stolen van
Mon, 12 Aug 2013
Life on the road as a touring musician is hard. It's much harder when some jerk makes off with your van and all your gear. Today, we're asking all who read this to keep an eye out for the white Ford Econoline pictured above. It belongs to an immensely awesome band/streetball outfit called Breathe Owl Breathe.
It was stolen in Berkeley Hills, Calif., over the weekend and contained:
-- Amati Cello (in blue hard shell case)
-- Lowrey Wandering Genie keyboard/organ
-- Lowrey Genie Mach III Plus
-- Larivee acoustic guitar
-- 1965 Fender pedal bass
-- Mint-green Fender Excels
-- Holy Grail reverb pedal (older style, large version)
-- Roland SP-404 sampler (with dent on bottom face)
-- Lyle semi-hollow body electric guitar
-- Fender Vibroverb guitar amp
-- Roland KC-550 keyboard amp
-- Fishman acoustic amp
-- Four-piece Adonis drum set (wood finish)
If you see any of this gear listed on Craigslist, or if you see a van with the Michigan license plate BVW 1039, call the cops right away. Sure, the odds say it's long gone, but these cases have been solved in the past.
