Hyundai i10, i20 and i30 Special Edition Edition
Tue, 22 Dec 2009The three new Hyundai Special Editions for 2010
A bit of a mouthful, I admit. But the explanation is that there are new ‘Spedical Edition’ models of the Hyundai i10 Edition, the Hyundai i20 Edition and the Hyundai i30 Edition. So Special Edition Editions it is. Apparently.
The Hyundai i10 Edition gets extra kit including 14″ alloys, front fogs, body coloured bumpers and mirrors, AirCon, electric windows, remote locking and leather wheel and gear knob. Power is from the 1.1 litre petrol that has emissions at 119g/km, so just £35 a year VED. Priced at £8,425.
The Hyundai i20 Edition comes in three or five door versions with the 1.2 litre petrol engine. It gets half-leather, AirCon, electric windows, leather wheel and gear knob, CD with USB connection and steering wheel audio controls. There is also the choice of a couple of special colours – Crystal White and Ice Blue. Prices from £10,565.
The Hyundai i30 Edition gets a ‘Sport’ look with new grill, air intakes, sculpted fogs and side skirts. There is also a new bumper at the back with twin exhaust trims. As well as the ‘Sport’ bits you also get 16″ alloys, privacy glass, ESP, remote locking, electric windows and CD with Aux and USB connectivity. Engine chocie is either 1.4 or 1.6 petrol and a 1.6 diesel. You can also throw in Stop-Start for an extra £200. Starting price is £13,400.
Hyundais already offer great value for money so it’s hard to argue against the extra these Special Editions offer. On sale from January 2010.
