Hyundai previews upcoming HND-9 concept
Thu, 21 Mar 2013Hyundai has given us the first look at its latest concept car ahead of its debut at this month's Seoul motor show.
The HND-9 concept, which previews the next-generation Genesis coupe, is the ninth concept from the carmaker's Namyang design center in Korea. Hyundai describes it as "a modern interpretation of a classic premium sports coupe" that displays the latest evolution of its fluidic future design language.
From the renderings we can see the concept uses butterfly doors and features a prominent hexagonal grille at the front of the long, low hood. Smooth character lines that stretch from the front to the rear help to give the concept a sculpted, muscular appearance.
At the rear we can see dual exhausts on both sides as well as interesting boomerang-shaped rear lamps that begin on the prominent shoulders before moving backwards.
The Seoul motor show runs from 28 March to 7 April.
