More new photos of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe

We have a few new photos of the new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show.

We always thought that Hyundai would bring their entire range in to line by giving the replacement for the Santa Fe the Hyundai ix45 moniker. But that’s not the case.

We asked Hyundai UK if the UK and Europe were going to get the new Hyundai Santa Fe with the ix45 badge when it arrives in the UK later this year after a debut at the New York Auto Show, and the were categoric in their assertion that the Santa Fe will remain the Santa Fe worldwide, even when the new model arrives.

So we might as well forget the ix45 badge for now and concentrate on the new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe as the Santa Fe.

Following on from the release of a couple of photos of the new Santa Fe last week, Hyundai has divvied up a few more shots. Frankly, they tell us little that we didn’t already know – that the Santa Fe is going to get slicker and sharper and look like it belongs to the modern Hyundai family – and it’s just the next salvo to ramp up interest before the NY debut.

You can probably expect a trickle of more detail as the New York show gets nearer.
