Infiniti EX30d: UK price and details
Fri, 21 May 2010The disel engined Infiniti EX - The Infiniti EX30d
The start of the month saw Infiniti divvying up details of the diesel engined FX30d for the UK, and in the next step in giving their cars more Euro-appeal we have details of the compact crossover diesel from Nissan’s luxury division – the Infiniti EX30d.
The EX30d gets the same diesel engine as the FX30d, namely a 3.0 litre V6 with graphite iron block (all the better for saving weight and adding smoothness) delivering 235bhp which – in the smaller EX30d – is sufficient to get to 60mph in 7.7 seconds and return 33.2mpg. Emissions are 227g/km.
The Infiniti EX range gets expanded to offer both GT and GT Premium models in addition to the standard offering. The GT trim adds goodies such as electric seats and steering column and leather whilst the GT Premium gets ‘Safety Shield’ which adds Cruise, Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Around View Monitor and SatNav.
Infiniti reckon that the top of the range Infiniti EX30d GT Premium will be the top seller across Europe, and is introduced as a result of buyers speccing up models on the previous range structure because they were seeking a very high-spec option.
Options have now been reduced to just a Bose® 11-speaker Premium Sound System (£615, only with Connectiviti+), electric glass sunroof (£820) and polished aluminium roof rails (£255). You can also add Connectiviti+ satnav system as an option on non Premium models for £1735.
Full details of the spec and all the Infiniti bumph are in the Infiniti EX30d UK prices press release, but if you can’t be bothered to read it the prices are below.
