Infiniti sports car concept

Infiniti is readying an all-new, 'highly advanced' EV concept. Set to make its debut at the 2012 Geneva motor show the as-yet unnamed range-extending electric sports car plays to Infiniti's ‘Inspired Performance' moniker.

According to the Japanese luxury brand, the mid-engined sports car features all the current Infiniti stylistic traits, such as the crescent-moon C-pillar and slick surfacing. The DRG boasts a dominant grille and broad fenders – a trait repeated in the car's haunches.

Though details are still scarce at present, Infiniti's Executive Vice President, Andy Palmer, has said that the new vehicle will usher in a clear vision for where Nissan's luxury division is going with its design language. "At the Geneva show next year, we will present our vision for a totally new kind of inspired premium performance car," he said. Watch the video to the left for more details.
