Jaguar has added the XF SE Business and XF Sport, both with the new 2.2 diesel engine, to the XF model range.
Jaguar has chosen today to launch two new XF models – the Jaguar XF SE Business and Jaguar XF Sport – to coincide with the XF being declared ‘Executive Car of the Year’ by Business Car. Another gong for the XF, and two new models for the XF range. A good news day for Jaguar.
Both the new XF models get the new 2.2 diesel engine, the XF Sport with the full-fat, 190 PS version, and the XF SE Business with the seemingly pointless de-tuned 163 PS version.
The Jaguar XF Sport gets a bit of an XFR makeover, with the addition of the full aerodynamic pack we saw arrive on the XF Diesel S in 2010, which means a new front bumper, black grill, side sills, boot spoiler and a black valance at the back.
Inside the XF Sport gets half leather with contrast stitching, Piano Black trim with ‘Sport’ logos, front electric seats, heated screen and front seats, reversing camera and front parking sensors.
The XF SE Business – and it’s only to businesses we can really see a market for the low-fat 163PS version of the 2.2 Diesel – gets a rep-special makeover with the addition of SatNav with HDD mapping. And that seems to be it.
The Jaguar XF Sport costs from £34,950 and the Jaguar XF SE Business from £31,500.
