Jaguar brand up 39 percent for April, Land Rover up 8 percent

Jaguar's U.S. sales rose 39 percent in April and Land Rover's sales rose 8 percent, compared with the same month a year ago.
Land Rover reported 2,982 sales in April and Jaguar recorded 1,249 sales. For the year to date, Land Rover sales are up 19 percent and Jaguar sales are up 15 percent.
The Range Rover Sport led Land Rover's sales in April with 1,327 copies sold.
For Jaguar, the redesigned XJ sold 578 copies.
