Jeep teases new concepts for Moab Easter Safari
Tue, 19 Mar 2013
The Easter Jeep Safari begins March 23 and runs for eight days in Moab, Utah. As it has in the past, Jeep will bring a few new concept four-wheelers for the event. Jeep on Tuesday revealed teaser sketches of the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II and Wrangler Slim.
The last Trailhawk was introduced in September and came equipped with 18-inch Goodyear Silent Armor tires, rock rails, Quadra-Lift air suspension, rear electronic limited-slip differential and a two-speed transfer case. We don't have an equipment list for the new version. But you can bet it will have the list above and probably a few more bits, along with Sherbet orange paint.
As for the Slim, we can see beadlock wheels, oversized tires, two doors and a hardtop on the Jeep Wrangler body. It also looks like body cladding over the grille and surrounding the headlights. The current Jeep's grille is body colored.
We'll hear more on these Jeeps in the next few days.

The Trailhawk II builds on last year's Trailhawk with a new coat of paint, new wheels and probably some other upgrades.
