Lamborghini Cabrera private reveal in the UK on 10th January 2014

The Lamborghini Gallardo – Lamborghini’s entry-level model – has finally finished its production run, and Lamborghini are now preparing to reveal its successor. That successor is expected to be called the Cabrera, and we’ve been expecting it to be revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. But now Lamborghini have started teasing their new supercar, it could be sooner.

It could also be sooner because London Lamborghini dealer H R Owen are planning a private reveal to invited guests (no, we can’t take cameras) in the early new year in a location in East London.

H R Owen are having four days of invite-only viewings for their most loyal customers at Factory 7 in Shoreditch, a Victorian factory on the edge of the City now used as a creative events space.

What we expect H R Owen’s invited guests to see is a Cabrera that has styling more akin to the Aventador than the Gallardo, complete with a new platform (to be shared with the next R8), a proper auto ‘box and a 5.2 litre V10 delivering at least 600bhp.

Lamborghini are promising more details before Christmas on their new car, but the reveal in Shoreditch may be the first chance we get to see the new Lamborghini in the flesh.
