Two new MINI Special Editions named after London districts arrive in the form of the MINI Baker Street and MINI Bayswater.
MINI decided around this time last year that they would name all future limited editions after London districts, since which time we’ve had the MINI Hampton and MINI Pimlico followed by the MINI Soho and even the MINI London to get a bit of extra mileage out of BMW’s Olympics 2012 sponsorship. And now we get the MINI Baker Street and MINI Bayswater.
The MINI Baker Street comes as either MINI One, One D, Cooper or Cooper D but, despite expectations, doesn’t get a Deerstalker and pipe graphic. It does get a Rooftop Grey paint job (although you can also have it in Pepper White or Midnight Black), Baker Street stripes on the bonnet and gloss black finish for the door mirrors and alloys. The Pepper Pack and interior and exterior chrome packs are also standard.
The MINI Bayswater is the ‘Sporty’ option and comes as a Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D or Cooper SD. There’s a Kite Blue paint job (with Midnight Black or Eclipse grey as an option) with black roof, bonnet stripes, stripey door mirrors, and 17″ gloss black alloys.
Inside you’ll get ‘Puch’ leather seats, stainless steel pedals, Piano Black trim and a pile of ‘Bayswater’ logos. The Chrome Trim Pack and Pepper Pack are also included in the price.
The MINI Baker Street costs from £16,365 and the MINI Bayswater from £18,565.
