MINI Hyde Park and MINI Green Park

The MINI Hyde Park and MINI Green Park have been revealed as MINI’s latest ‘London’ specials. Available as Clubman and Hatch.

It must have been at least a week since the last MINI Special Edition (actually, it’s three weeks) so MINI PR have got itchy feet. The result is the MINI Hyde Park and MINI Green Park, the latest specials in MINI’s London naming scheme.

As we’ve come to expect, the MINI specials are cosmetic rather than actually being any different to a regular MINI, and the Hyde Park and Green Park are no different.

Available as either a MINI hatch or MINI Clubman, you can have the Green Park and Hyde Park as a Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S or Cooper SD with the engines you’d expect for those models and either a manual or (extra cost) auto.

The MINI Hyde Park comes in Pepper White with Hot Chocolate stripes and highlights and is, say BMW boldly, a classic espousal of a British way of life. inside the Hyde Park Pepper White paint abounds (and gives an almost retro feel to the cabin) with seats in cloth/leather or Leather Gravity, MINI Yours dash and black or beige colour line.

The MINI Green Park (this, apparently, is an ‘Ambassador of the Sporting Heritage) also come in Pepper White but this time it gets British Racing Green stripes and highlights. The inside again features Pepper White surfaces, this time with seats in black or beige and a MINI Yours leather dash in Black/Polar Biege.

MINI hasn’t given us prices for the MINI Hyde Park and MINI Green Park but they’re not going to be a lot different to the regular MINI hatch and MINI Clubman prices.
