This is one car that apparently won’t be at Paris, the stunning new Maserati MC Concept. Essentially a racing version of the Granturismo S, this MC could well become the next Trofeo car for the one-make series, while also being made available to GT3 and GT4 customers.
Let’s start with what we can see. The front bumper is all-new, with two additional air intakes and a front splitter, while the revised bonnet also features an air inlet and two vents. Vents also appear behind the front wheelarches while the rear features a larger spoiler (to balance the front splitter) and repositioned exhaust pipes. Those exhausts also feature new racing cats and silencers (that we hope aren’t particularly quiet).
Combined with a remapped 4.7-litre V8 and a new induction system, power climbs from 433 to 444bhp, while torque is also up a smidgen, from 362 to 376lb ft.
