Mercedes-Benz M-Class
Fri, 10 Jun 2011Mercedes-Benz has announced the 2012 M-Class. The third generation off-roader is said to ‘set a new benchmark in the SUV segment’ in terms of design, consumption and comfort.
Boasting an array of mechanical and technological enhancements, the M-Class is said to be vastly improved both on and off road. The 2012 M-Class is unique in its design and construction, with Mercedes-Benz using its ‘energy-transparent vehicle’ development tool during the development process.
The design of the M-Class is said to be optimized for airflow, with the front bumper, A-pillars, under-floor paneling and roof spoiler all boosting the M-Class’ efficiency.
Elsewhere, the M-Class has a DRG dominated by the ‘self-confident’ grille, whilst in side profile, the elongated lines and short overhangs are said to emphasize the on road credentials of the M-Class.
