It's a sad day, but the reveal of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition at Tokyo – and LA – really does represent the end of the line for Mercedes' gullwing supercar.

All good things come to an end. Even if we might have hoped for a slightly more tasteful finish in this particular instance.
