Mercedes-Benz recalling 2,297 diesel cars for fuel leak
Fri, 05 Nov 2010Mercedes-Benz is recalling nearly 2,300 diesel-powered cars to fix a leak in the fuel system.
The recall covers 2011 models of the E-class, the GL-class, the M-class and the R-class.
The fuel leak is caused by a faulty fuel-filter O-ring that may have not been properly lubricated. Diesel fuel may leak on roads, making them slick.
Dealers will replace the fuel filter free of charge.
