The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV was one of the stars of the Geneva ’09 Motor Show. Pure Lamborghini, from form to function, and probably the last of the real old-school Lamborghinis that will be made.

Not surprisingly, even with its limited run, Lamborghini are making the most of the great reception the car received. So good in fact that the UK allocation of LP670-4 SVs are just about sold out – all with £30k deposits paid up-front. Not bad in such trouble times. And none at a discount!

Just to recap, before you enjoy the video below, the Murcielago LP670-4 SV offers a decent jump in output to 670bhp, bringing the 0-60 time down to just a smidgen over 3 seconds. Helped not only by the power increase, but by a decent bit of weight saving (Super Veloce is ‘light’ on the Murcielago in the same way Superleggera is on the Gallardo), Lamborghini are billing this as the fastest Lamborghini ever.
