National Corvette Museum launches effort to build a track complex

Driving away from the museum in a shiny new Corvette is a dream realized by several hundred people each year, part of Chevrolet's factory-delivery program.
Now, the museum wants to make it possible to drive while you're there.
The nonprofit group that oversees the National Corvette Museum is launching a drive to build a track complex on land on the other side of Interstate 65.
We're not talking just a little handling track here. The $35 million plan calls for two road courses, a karting track, an autocross track on 10 acres, a skidpad area and a quarter-mile drag strip.
