New 2014-2015 Volkswagen Passat and Passat Estate details and pictures revealed

Volkswagen has released the first details of the new eighth-generation Passat, which goes on sale in the UK and Europe before the end of 2014.

The new VW Passat is lower, lighter, up to 20% more fuel-efficient and much more striking to look at. Could this be the Passat to tempt you out of that BMW 3 Series?
