New Aston Martin Vanquish – the Internet star

The new for 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish has proved an Internet hit for Aston Martin, breaking all website records.

We all love a new supercar, and a supercar that has looks to die for is bound to be a hit. But the new Aston Martin Vanquish looks like it’s really piqued the interest of petrolheads around the world, with Aston Martin reporting record-breaking days on its website.

The new Vanquish was officially revealed last Wednesday and saw hits on Aston Martin’s website at record breaking levels (it was also the top story on Cars UK the same day), and when the Vanquish configurator story ran on Friday AML broke their website visitor record once again.

But it’s not just Aston Martin’s website that’s had a whole heap of Vanquish love, AML’s social media has too. The new Vanquish video pushed them past 3 million views, they’ve had a whole raft of new likes on Facebook and the hashtag #vanquish and ‘Aston Martin Vanquish’ were top trending in the UK at one point.

All of which augers well for Aston Martin’s new range-topper. But when are we going to see it in public in the UK?

We’ve asked Aston Martin if they’re taking the new Vanquish to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, but they’re not saying. Well, they did say ‘We’re not able to confirm that yet’ when we asked them, which sounds like they are. So no doubt there’ll be another story shortly confirming the Vanquish at Goodwood soon.

They’d be daft not to.
