Mon, 25 Nov 2013New Honda Civic Tourer – price from £20,265
When the Honda Civic Tourer Concept (the Civic Estate) arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring, it looked a properly convincing estate version of Honda’s Civic. And even when it was toned down to deliver the production version at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the autumn, it still looked good.
Now, with the Civic Tourer ready to go on sale in the UK, Honda has revealed their family-friendly estate car wilkl cost from £20,265.
The Civic Tourer comes with a choice of two engines - 1.8 i-VTEC petrol and Honda’s new ‘earth Dreams’ 1.6 i-DTEC diesel – and a choice of four trim levels – S, SE Plus, SR and EX.
The entry-level Civic Tourer S comes with Bluetooth, DAB, US and 16″ alloys, with the SE Plus adding in rear parking sensors and 17″ alloys and the SR getting rear Adaptive Damping, heated seats, SatNav and privacy glass.
Push the boat out and opt for the range-topping EX trim and Honda will throw in Smart Entry and Start, headlight washers, ambient lighting and self-levelling Bi-HID headlights.
Also on offer is Honda’s new suite of safety tech in the Driver Assistance Safety Pack – which you can add to all models from the SE up for an extra £780 – and offers:
And if you want extra goodies like Cruise and Collision Mitigation Braking System you can get those ina ddition to the Safety Pack stuff by opting for Safety Pack II on the EX.
With good looks, great build quality (almost certainly) and plenty of room, the new Honda Civic Tourer looks a sound buy.
