New Range Rover Sport tease moves to video

Land Rover are continuing the tease for the 2104 Range Rover – which debuts this month in New York – with the first video tease.

Land Rover decided just two days ago that the time had come to start the PR push for the reveal of the all new Range Rover Sport in New York on 26th March.

All we got that time out was a blurry photo of the new RRS and a few details about what’s on offer – ‘The most responsive and agile vehicle to date’ from Land Rover.

Now, just two days later, we get a second tease from Land Rover which, by our reckoning, means we’re in for another half a dozen teases for the new Sport if Land Rover keep up this pace of torment.

There may have been little actual detail to get our teeth in to on the first picture tease, but there’s not much more in this video tease either.

We get to see the new Range Rover Sport’s headlights and the side of the Sport as it rolls by. There is a brief glimpse of the Sport in darkened shadows as Land Rover pack it in a box to ship it from Gaydon to New York, and if we really try hard we think you might just be able to discern the mellifluous rumble of eight cylinders. But that’s it.

The 2014 Range Rover Sport will be revealed on 26th March in a ‘Live Drive’ reveal in New York. But we’ll be teased more before then.
