New SEAT Exeo Ecomotive available across the Exeo range
Thu, 26 Jul 2012The SEAT Exeo Ecomotive has been launched in the UK with a 2.0 litre TDI and two power outputs. Available in all trim levels.
Anything ‘Eco’ is a big deal these days not just for those seeking better economy but from company car users who want to mitigate their tax bill. Which explains why over 40 per cent of SEAT’s sales are badged ‘Ecomotive’.
Now, if you want the old shape Audi A4 with a SEAT badge, you can now grab a SEAT Exeo with the Ecomotive badge which means a 2.0 litre TDI under the bonnet and a choice of two power outputs.
It seems SEAT has managed to map to 2,.0 litre diesel to return the same official economy (and therefore the same emissions) whether you opt for the 118bhp or 141bhp version, so you get an official 62.8mpg and 117g/km.
That means a company car driver will see a tax saving with the BIK rate of 17 per cent and all owners will benefit from a VED rate of just £30.
You pay your money and take your choice of the full Exeo range if you opt for an Ecomotive version, with the entry point being the 120 PS Exeo Ecomotive S at £20,040 with a decent spec including 16″ alloys, Climate, Cruise, Bluetooth and a multi-function steering wheel.
Both the SEAT Exeo Ecomotive and Exeo ST Ecomotive are now available.
