New Skoda Yeti Adventure Special Edition launched
Wed, 12 Jun 2013The SkodaYeti Adventure Special Edition (pictured) gets £2,250 of extra equipment at no cost.
The Skoda Yeti may not be the prettiest compact SUV on the block, but it’s a well-built soft-roader from the Czech car maker with a lot of appeal, particularly for families.
So as we’re supposedly in the middle of summer – a dead time for SUV sales of any sort – Skoda are making potential buyers an offer they can’t ignore with the launch of the Yeti Adventure Special Edition, offering unique features and £2,250 of extra equipment over the Yeti SE. Offered with either 2WD or as a proper 4×4, the Yeti Adventure comes with a choice of two engines, the 2.0-litre TDI CR 110PS for the 2WD and 2.0-litre TDI CR 140PS for the 4×4, both with the same range of extra equipment and titivation.
Those extras include exterior tweaks with 17″ black and chrome alloys, black roof and door mirrors, silver roof rails and black side mouldings with chrome edges. There’s a choice of Candy White and Brilliant Silver Metallic paint – both with black roof.
The interior of the Adventure gets a play too with special upholstery with a tyre print design and silver stitching (Skoda hasn’t seen fit to send us any photos of that) Amundsen+ SatNav, DAB, Bluetooth and multi-function steering wheel. All is in addition to the standard SE spec.
The Skoda Yeti Adventure goes on sale on 22nd July at £18,640 for the 2WD and £21,215 for the 4×4.
