Nissan 370Z Official Pictures

There’s been plenty of leaked technical information on the upcoming 370Z for a while, and a few spy-shots to boot. But following the car’s showing at LA, Nissan has decided to get on with it and release a set of official images for us to digest.

The 370Z Coupe is due to launch in the New Year, with the Roadster following in 2010. The 350Z, which Nissan hoped would be something of renaissance for the ‘Z’, turned out to be a bit of a damp squid. It was a let down in practically every area, and certainly didn’t make a single petrol head sit up and take notice. So a lot rests on the 370Z.

Almost every single aspect of the 370Z is new, with more power, better fuel consumption, lots of weight saving materials and a shorter wheelbase.

The standard car has a fair amount of kit as standard (as you’d expect from a Japanese car), and promises a great deal. Let’s hope that this is the modern incarnation of the 240Z, and not the 300Z!

I don’t know about you, but this looks to be a really ugly car. Perhaps it will look better in the flesh.
