Nissan 370Z Yellow – UK Limited Edition 370Z
Thu, 02 Jul 2009The Limited Edition Nissan 370Z Yellow has been launched in the UK
It must have taken a think-tank months to come up with the name. You can imagine the brief: We’ve got this tarted up 370Z with loud graphics and an even louder paint job we want to punt to UK 370Z buyers who’ve got the arse because we haven’t brought the Nismo to the UK. You need to come up with a name that encapsulates everything the car stands for. £500k later and – ‘TaDaa!’ – The Nissan 370Z Yellow. Wow.
So that’s what you get. A bright yellow 370Z with big, black graphics. Supposedly taking design cues from Nissan’s European GT4 Series cars, the Yellow gets the aforementioned colour scheme and graphics together with a set of 19″ Rays Alloys. The inside is all black leather and Alcantara, with SatNav, Bose, and heated seats. But there are no power upgrades. Unlike the Nismo which got and extra 20 horses and upgraded suspension and brakes, the 370Z Yellow is based on the standard 370Z GT Pack.
If you’re desperate to drive round in a custard-coloured 370Z that goes no better than the rather more understated standard 370Z, then get along to a UK Nissan dealer – who will relieve you of £31,650 for the manual and £33,050 for the auto.
Nissan say you need to hurry, because the 370Z Yellow is a very limited edition.
