Nissan Juke Kuro – the Juke Black
Tue, 23 Aug 2011The Nissan Juke Kuro - 'Black' to you and me
How did we miss a limited edition Juke – especially when we think the Nissan Juke is such a funky little urban car – when Nissan sent us the details of the Juke Kuro last week? There must be a hole in our inbox.
No matter, we’ll make up for it now, although there’s not an enormous amount to say.
The funky little urban warrior we see buzzing around our city centres more and more, the Nisssan Juke, has now been with us long enough to spawn a limited edition. And what better way to go than the tried and tested ‘Black’ route all car maker love? So we get the Nissan Juke Black.
Except Nissan has decided we need a bit of linguistic diversity in the Juke, so they’ve used the Japanese for black – Kuro.
The Nissan Juke Kuro gets based on the top-end Juke Tekna with the addition of gloss black 17″ alloys, black mirrors and black door handles.
And actually, apart from a plaque on the centre console and a choice of Pearl Black or Force Red paint, that is all the Kuro is. A set of wheels and some paint.
You do get a choice of oily bits, with the 1.6 litre petrol coming in at £17,395, and the more appealing 190hp turbocharged DIG-T at £18,995.
Just 700 on offer. From about now.
