Nissan Juke-R: First customer car ready for delivery
Tue, 16 Oct 2012The first Nissan Juke-R #001 – Nissan’s Juke with the heart of a GT-R – is ready for delivery to its owner. It will have cost at least £400k.
Now the very first Nissan Juk-R is ready to roll out to its owner – who will have paid at least £400,000 for the privilege of owning a Juke with the running gear from a GT-R – and built by Motorsports outfit RML, with advice from Nissan Technical Centre Europe.
The first customer Juke-R gets the 545bhp 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 from the GT-R – with an estimated 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds and top speed of 170mph – and new bumpers and side sills thanks to input from Nissan’s Design team in Paddington.
Nissan say they received three firm offers to buy a Juke-R after the concept Juke-R was revealed, and the second Juke-R is already underway and Nissan are willing to take orders for more if you’ve got a spare £400k lurking down the sofa for a completely bonkers compact SUV (just email Nissan at Juke-R@Nissan.co.uk).
But if that’s a bit steep for you, you can always grab a Juke-R virtual fix with the new Gameloft Asphalt 7: Heat mobile racing game where the Juke-R stars alongside its more prosaic production sibling, the new Juke Nismo.
