Nissan Juke n-tec arrives in the UK: Price from £16,295
Sat, 06 Apr 2013Nissan has revealed a new model in the Juke range – the Juke n-tec – with cosmetic tweaks and extra equipment Cost from £16,295.
It was a move that gave Nissan an edge as car makers woke up to the realisation that car buyers wanted something a bit higher riding and a bit more butch than a saloon car to ride around, leaving other car makers hustling to catch up with Nissan’s Crossover jump.
And it was the success of the Qashqai that inspired Nissan to follow up with a little brother in the shape of the ‘I’m ugly but I’m funky’ Nissan Juke, which looks a bit like a four-wheeled bug prowling the urban landscape, but which is actually a good little car.
Now, Nissan have rolled out the Juke n-tec as a new model for the Juke range, a model Nissan expects to become the best-seller – just like the Qashqai n-tec is.
The Juke n-tec is based on the Juke Acenta Premium, but gets a number of titivations including 18″ n-tec alloys, gloss black door mirrors and B-pillar, gloss black for the centre console and door trim finishers, twin tailpipes (well, if you opt for the DIG-T engine) and a black headliner (again, only with the DIG-T).

But you also get Nissan’s new Connect System which is controlled by a 5.8″ touchscreen and offers SatNav, Bluetooth and Google Send-To-Car which allows you to plan a route at home and send it to the car before you leave on a journey.
Engine choices will be everything the Juke has to offer, which means one diesel – the 1.5 dCi – and two petrols – the 1.6 and 1.6 DIG-T – with manual or CVT ‘box depending on the engine choice, and 4WD available on the Juke n-tec GIG-T.
The Juke n-tec is now on sale with prices from £16,295 for the Juke n-tec 1.6 manual rising to £20,000 for the Juke n-tec 1.6 DIG-T 4WD M-CVT.
