The new Volvo V40 arrives

The new Volvo V40 – dues to debut at the Geneva Motor Show – has leaked ouy early from a Polish Facebook page.

We has what looked like the first photo of the new Volvo V40 a week or so ago, but we now have what is undoubtedly the first official photo of the 2012 V40 ahead of its debut at Geneva in a couple of weeks.

Looking a bit like a cross between the C30 and the V60, the V40 is a good looking car. It will, in all probability, put paid to the C30 and the V50, but as yet we have no information on exactly what Volvo plans for their new coupe-estate

We’re expecting the Volvo V40 to get the choice of 1.4 and 1.8 litre lumps, and even a 4WD option too. If we keep our fingers crossed we may even get a Polestar version, and with a bit of R-Design goodness bolted on and more oomph – and 4WD – the V40 could be a proper little Q-Estate.
