Tue, 16 Jul 2013
We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about.
-- Want to see a McLaren F1 get major surgery? Of course you do! Check out this episode of "Jay Leno's Garage" where they yank the heart from the comedian's F1.
-- Regardless of what you think of rapper Ludacris, you have to respect the man's everyday ride: a 1993 Acura Legend with 235,000 miles on the odometer. It's a sobering reminder of the days when Acura was a brand to be reckoned with.
-- Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones: An example is this basic Tumblr blog dedicated to car interiors, complete with vintage, wacky and just plain cool interior photos from around the world.
-- Speaking of simple, Alan Franklin at Petrolicious takes a nostalgic look at one of the most spartan -- yet arguably perfect -- examples of automotive entertainment ever conceived: the Lotus Seven.
