One lap of the Web: Jaguar restomods and the Taj Ma Garaj

This 1963 Jaguar E-Type restomod is on sale from Stratford, Conn. for $89,000. It features a custom built 4.2-liter I6 making more than 300 hp with a handful of internal upgrades. It won't win the concours for most original, but who cares?

The Mercedes Sprinter van is already a competent moving machine, a people carrier and a party on wheels, but this camper version takes it to the next level. It has a TV, fridge, bathroom and all the other amenities you need for your next camp out, or camp in, as the case may be.

The boys from Flat Sixes are remembering the late John Dixon and the Taj Ma Garaj. Dixon owned a spot in Dayton, Ohio where car guys and girls can get together, learn about Porsches and talk cars. He will be missed.

We could send you to a video of a kid from Libya drifting a Ferrari 458 in the sand, but instead we have SpeedHunters Albania and an F430 in the dirt. They're both worth a watch, but we'll take Albania for the square, Bob.
