Opening day auction results from Monterey

In results gathered by Hagerty Insurance, $5.8 million worth of cars, trucks and motorcycles were sold Thursday at auctions on the Monterey Peninsula. A total of 190 of 323 lots were sold, for a sell-through rate of 59 percent. The average selling price was $30,511.

The figures are a bit less than in 2011, when the auction houses sold $7.6 million in cars, with 244 of 373 lots sold for a sell-through of 65 percent. The average transaction price last year was $31,148.

All figures listed below are the raw results witnessed by Hagerty during the live auctions and may not factor in any postsale deals that have occurred. The numbers include the appropriate buyers' premiums.
