Pagani Huayra
Tue, 08 Mar 2011Horatio Pagani took the opportunity of the Geneva motor show to launch the successor to the critically acclaimed Zonda hyper-car. The Huayra builds on the foundations of the Zonda, retaining a clear visual link to its predecessor.
Pagani's trademark stylistic details are still present, such as the emphasis on carbon fiber and the quartet of exhausts. Powered by an AMG-sourced 6000cc twin turbo unit coupled to a seven speed sequential gearbox, the Huayra produces around 700bhp and 1000Nm of torque. In a car that weighs little more than a 1300kg, this level of performance is sprightly to say the least.
