Pandora now available for 2011 BMW models

A free Pandora Internet radio iPhone app is now available for 2011 BMW models that use the BMW Apps feature.

Popular features available through the app include access to existing stations, creating new stations, the ability to thumbs-up or thumbs-down tracks and the option to bookmark songs.

To stream Pandora, the iPhone is linked to the car via a USB cable or through the center armrest with an available snap-in adapter. Once the iPhone is connected, Pandora can be operated with the vehicle's existing controls.

The Pandora app is live starting on April 28 and can be downloaded at www.itunes.com/appstore.

The BMW Apps option that must be enabled to use the free Pandora app is available on 2011 and 2012 BMWs produced from March 2011 onwards. It costs $250.
