Pedigreed 1980 Porsche 933 (almost) ready to race for $15,000

Looking for a pedigreed piece of racing machinery on the cheap? One could do worse than this example of a 1980 Porsche 933, listed by our good friends at Bring a Trailer.
They claim that this is one of sixteen 924 chassis cars factory-developed in Weissach, Germany, and delivered to Holbert Racing in Pennsylvania.
This is chassis No. 2, which competed in the D-Production class of SCCA racing with Stefan Edlis at the helm. After that class was eliminated, the car was upgraded to GT3 specs.
The car has been in storage since 2006, so the seller suggests replacement of the valve springs, a fluid change and a seatbelt update before taking it to the track.
Read all the details and get in touch with the seller at www.bringatrailer.com.
