Peugeot 107 facelift (2012) unveiled
Thu, 05 Jan 2012The Peugeot 107 gets a facelift for 2012
Peugeot has revealed a facelift for the 107, with new exterior styling, increased specification and reduced Co2.
The Peugeot 107 is a fun little city car, as we discovered when we reviewed the Peugeot 107 in 2010, but it’s now getting towards the end of its life, with an all new car due in 2013. But to keep things fresh Peugeot has revealed a facelift for the 107 for 2012 to keep it selling through to the end of its life. That means a new nose, better interior and improved emissions and economy.
The new nose on the 2012 107 gets a deeper front panel with integrated fogs as part of a revised bumper, and there’s a set of ‘must have’ LED running lights.
Peugeot has given the 107 three levels of trim – Access, Active and Allure – in line with the rest of the Peugeot range, with stuff like Bluetooth and USB connections finally making their way in to Peugeot’s baby. AirCon now comes as standard on all but the 107 Access, and the 107 Allure gets alloys, rev counter and the aforementioned connections as standard.
As well as the extra equipment and exterior restyle, the 2012 107 gets an upgraded interior and Peugeot are doing all they can to make sure the 107 continues to ship out to customer right to the end of its life with some comprehensive ’Just add fuel’ deals, which let you drive away in a new 107 with three years insurance, warranty, service and roadside assist all for a fixed monthly price.
The new 2012 Peugeot 107 facelift arrives in February – starting at £7,995 – and it looks like Peugeot has done enough to keep it relevant for the last year of its life.
