Porsche Panamera – Promo Video

Porsche has released a new Video of the Porsche Panamera

But with the first Panameras getting out on the road, and the Porsche Panamera launching in the UK (Porsche Panamera UK prices) in September, Porsche has released a promotional video showing a ‘Day in the Life’ of its new 4-door coupe.

The Panamera comes in three flavours to start with – the Panamera S (V8), the Panamera 4S (V8) and the Panamera Turbo (V8 Turbo) – with prices starting from £72,266 and rising to £95,298. But that’s just the start. Spec up the cars to the sort of levels that will give you the ‘Porsche Experience’ you’re looking for (and which will make the car re-saleable later on) and you can add at least £10,000 to the price (and probably double that).

But Porsche has high expectations for the Panamera, and are viewing it as potentially another cash cow – just like the Porsche Cayenne. And Porsche are also likely to copy what they’ve done with the Cayenne – where a Porsche Cayenne Hybrid is due next year – and will be adding a Panamera Hybrid and a Panamera diesel to the mix before long.

The promo video is all beautiful people and Lifestyle locations – obviously Porsche’s definition of the Panamera customer. In reality its much more likely to be a fat businessman driving through a city. But I guess that doesn’t look as appealing.
