Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic to debut at Geneva
Tue, 18 Feb 2014
If you'd like to buy a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, you've got your choice of Pure, Pure Plus, Tropicana Pure Premium, Prestige and Dynamic. But say you're teetering between the Prestige and Dynamic models up at the top of the range; you want opulence and sportiness in equal measure. Fear not, for Tata's highfalutin' off-road division has heard your call.
Their answer? The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic, which is flarf if we've ever seen flarf applied to the name of a vehicle. It should also be a helluva ute-nugget. Horsepower is up 41, to 281. Those extra ponies are shunted through ZF Friedrichshafen's nine-speed transmission to all four wheels. Steering has also been specially tuned for the model (we're not sure what that means, but the Evoque's steering is already quite nice.) You also get bigger front brake rotors.
On the fanciness front, “Autobiography” badging is all over the place. On the tail. Embroidered into the seats — if you opt for the Dynamic Plus interior package. Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic with Dynamic Plus Interior. Our brains are now officially full of words. Clear taillights and a revised front fascia differentiate the Autobiography Dynamic from its lesser siblings. And the Phoenix Orange paint is an Autobiography Dynamic-exclusive color.
We'll see it in a couple of weeks at the Geneva Motor Show.
