Rapid Response Required To Snap Up Limited-Run Skoda

THE RAPID might only have recently hit the showrooms but Skoda has been quick to wheel out two special editions of its entry-level hatchback.

Boasting unique features and extra equipment worth thousands of pounds, the first of the extra special pairing is the Rapid SE Connect. It's based on the Rapid 1.2-litre 86 horsepower TSI SE, but with the addition of extra kit worth a wallet-friendly £3,665.

The car’s enhanced specification includes one of two metallic paint choices, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors plus satellite navigation with DAB digital radio.

The Rapid SE Connect is priced at £12,990 on the road, and is limited to 800 vehicles.

The second limited edition model is the Rapid Sport. It's based on the 1.2-litre TSI 105P horsepower SE model and includes extra equipment worth £1,250.

Additional features include 17-inch black alloy wheels, privacy glass, front fog lights, sports seats, black door mirrors and a rear spoiler.

The Rapid Sport is only available in a single colour - Candy White - and is priced at £15,630 on the road. Only 200 units will be available to UK customers, ensuring exclusivity.
