Rolls-Royce Wraith (2013) first teaser image of Ghost coupe

Following last week's official announcement of a Rolls-Royce Ghost-based coupe, the Goodwood manufacturer has released the first in its series of teaser images of the new Wraith two-door. We'll see the car in full at the Geneva motor show on 5 March 2013.
The Rolls-Royce Wraith doesn't look like I expected it to...Rakish, isn't it? If you'd expected the Wraith to the follow the same template as the Phantom Coupe, you're in for a shock. The tapering tail and glasshouse of the Wraith is far sleeker than the chopped saloon-car profile of the Phantom Coupe. It is, dare we say, slightly 1968 Mustang Fastback-esque.
Still, the nose is reassuringly bluff and bears the trademark Spirit of Ecstasy motif atop the grille, and the Wraith is expected to get new front-end treatment to stand apart from the Rolls Ghost. The doors are still rear-hinged, a trait betrayed by the position of the door handles
And what's under the bonnet of the Rolls-Royce Wraith? The engine details, like the car itself, are still shrouded in mystery, but CAR hears the Wraith will boast a hefty power boost over the Ghost to befit its sportier brief. Power from the 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 will be up from 563bhp to well over 600bhp, and we're promised by Rolls that the Wraith will be its most dynamic ever model – we've already seen disguised models testing at the Nurburgring.
Deliveries of customer cars commence in the fourth quarter of 2013, with prices expected to start at over £220,000.
