SEAT Mii 5-Door joins its VW stablemates

The 5-Door SEAT Mii has been revealed ahead of its debut at Geneva in March, joining the 5-door VW Up and Skoda Citigo city cars.
Today it’s SEAT’s turn to take the VW Group City Car and turn it in to a 5-door, with the reveal of the SEAT Mii 5-door ahead of the Geneva Motor Show in March, alongside the 5-door VW Up and the 5-door Skoda Citigo.
Really, there’s not a huge amount to say about the SEAT Mii 5-door that we haven’t already said about the 3-door Mii - except it gets two extra doors.
The 5-door Mii is the same size as the 3-door, and it gets the same choice of engines – two versions of the 1.0 litre 3-pot with either 61bhp or 76bhp. Thanks to stuff like stop-start and brake energy recovery, the Mii can manage 63mpg in 61bhp guise or 60mpg when it gets the more ‘powerful’ 76bhp version. The Mii Ecomotive – the ‘Eco’ Mii – manages 69mpg with emissions of 96g/km.
Expect the 5-door Mii to cost a bit more than the 3-door, and a bit less than the VW Up.
