Skoda MissionL
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Skoda is the latest manufacturer to join the queue of those releasing teaser shots ahead of the 64th Frankfurt motor show next week. Following on from the somewhat understated VisionD shown in Geneva ealier this year, is the MissionL.
Unlike the VisionD, the MissionL concept is said to be close to a final production-ready design that will be launched through Europe, Russia and China. The liftback will buck the recent trend for ‘Global' cars as unique modifications will be made to tailor it for each market.
"Revealing the look of our new compact model, the MissionL shows exactly the direction our brand is going to take," says Skoda Board Chairman Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland. "The world premiere in Frankfurt gives a clear signal that Skoda is going full steam ahead now. We are going to present a new vehicle every six months over the next two or three years."
We'll bring you all the pics and opinions from Frankfurt next week.
