Small price hike for 2013 Toyota Prius family
Tue, 16 Oct 2012
Toyota has set small price increases for most Prius vehicles for the 2013 model year. It has yet to announce a price for the 2013 Prius c.
The 2013 Toyota Prius will sticker for $23,975, including a $760 destination charge. That’s $200 more than last year’s Prius—but $30 of that increase comes from the destination charge, which is non-negotiable. The top-trim Prius Five will sticker for $30,765.
New for 2013 is the Persona Series Special Edition model, which adds exterior changes and new equipment to the Prius Three trim. The Persona includes 17-inch wheels, a unique Black Cherry paint color and Persona Series badges.
The interior of the Persona is trimmed in charcoal-colored SofTex synthetic leather with black accents and red stitching. The steering wheel is also trimmed in the eco-friendly material, with a dark chrome bezel that matches accents on the gearshift and door grips.
The base price of the 2013 Prius v wagon goes up $100 for 2013, to a total of $27,410. The Prius v Five trim costs $31,055. Changes for the new year consist only of a new Seaglass Pearl exterior color.
The 2013 Prius Plug-in continues with a base price of $32,760, while the Advanced trim holds at $40,285.
These prices are before any tax credits your state applies to the purchase of alternative-fuel vehicles.
The 2013 Toyota Prius family is on sale now.
