Spied: Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The mild redesign of Porsche's 911 range will get to the ultra-high-performance GT3 RS model, based on these spy shots.

This prototype was nabbed making a cross-country U.S. dash.

Note the heat exchanger on this prototype: It is incorporated in the engine cover, at the base of the rear wing. That wing is a new design, too, as best as we can tell. Another change is wider fenders.

Some things remain constant, such as the "gt3 rs" decal on its flanks, the special-color wheels and the contrasting color on the outside mirrors. Expect engine output to stay in the 415-hp range and a 0-to-60-mph time of about 4 seconds.
