Startech upgrades the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque inside and out

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Startech, a company that sits under the Brabus umbrella, has created a customization program for the new Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The program includes a full host of interior and exterior improvements to make your Evoque stand out from the crowd, but power upgrades are coming soon.

The Startech treatment starts out with front and rear fascia replacements. The nose gets a more dynamic profile, according to the company, with new air inlets and a front spoiler that floats in the new fascia. The shape is said to have been tuned in the wind tunnel to reduce lift on the front axle. The rear gets an integrated diffuser that can be combined with the production exhaust or a custom stainless-steel setup from Startech. A new rear wing completes the package.

Startech sport springs are specifically calibrated to the low-profile tires the tuner provides, and they mount with the production shocks. They're compatible with both front- and all-wheel-drive models and lower the Evoque by 1.4 inches.

A performance upgrade for the 2.0-liter engine is in the works, according to the company, and more kits will follow.

On the inside, Startech will fulfill any special request for material or color, including Alcantara and leather. Diamond stitching gives the seats an elegant look, and complements of wood or carbon fiber can also be ordered.

Neither Startech nor Brabus would ever let a car out of its shop without a set of custom wheels, so the Evoque gets three-piece, 21-inchers in a five-spoke design with a black treatment for an even more sinister look.

We'll have more photos and details on the engine mods as they become available.
