Subaru Advanced Tourer concept

The 2011 Tokyo motor show will see Subaru reveal a second concept alongside the hotly anticipated BRZ sports coupe.

The Advanced Tourer Concept appears to be an evolution of the 2009 Hybrid Tourer Concept. The gullwing festooned body of the previous concept has been dropped in favor of a five-door station wagon. Despite utterings of previewing the next generation Legacy, the Advanced Tourer's dimensions slot the car between the current generation Impreza and Legacy, suggesting an all-new model.

The Tourer's exterior is said to offer a more aggressive design, with a heavily pronounced wheelarch treatment and defined lines.

Inside, the four-seat Tourer gains a full-length glass roof and an experimental in-wheel screen that relays navigation maps, TV and Internet services.

More details of the Advanced Tourer will be announced at the Tokyo show on November 30th, 2011.
