Subaru prices 2015 Outback
Fri, 06 Jun 2014
People of the Pacific Northwest, rejoice: Pricing has just been announced for the 2015 Subaru Outback. It comes with a host of upgrades for all of your outdoor adventures.
The base 2.5i model, packing a 175-hp four-cylinder engine, now starts at $25,745, which is a $1,000 premium over the outgoing model. Premium and limited versions of the 2.5i model start at $27,845 and $30,845, respectively. For the top-of-the-line 3.6R Limited and its 256 hp 3.6-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine, you'll need to plunk down $33,845, including destination charge.
All models will come standard with Subaru's Lineartronic CVT, which helps to improve the 2.5i's fuel economy to 25 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, up from last year's ratings of 24/30/26. The 2.5i also comes with a revamped infotainment system that includes a larger touchscreen and a bevy of other features, including iPod Control and iTunes Tagging capabilities.
Premium and limited packages still include Subaru's Eyesight technology with Blind Spot Detection, in addition to Lane Change Assist, which uses radar detection to alert drivers to unseen objects and vehicles. All Eyesight-equipped models also offer Steering Responsive Fog Lights that add visibility when turning.
The 3.6R Outback models will also see fuel economy gains thanks in part to a new “high-torque” CVT mated to its six-cylinder powerplants. If you want to see more than just headliner when you look up, the Moonroof package will run you $1,695; tack on another $500 if you want navigation with that.
The 2015 Subaru Outback will arrive in dealerships this summer, camping supplies not included.
